@DelleonMcglone@aribethzy@_buildspace I would go with the OG pillars: MCing (oral), DJing (aural), Breakdance (Physical), Graffiti (Visual), and Knowledge (Mental). I think most Hip Hop heads are fans, not participants. I want to encourage active participation and establish a roadmap for people interested in doing so
creativity should be accessible and approachable. hip hop is for the people. as such, the people deserve a pathway that can inculcate them in the art of hip hop.
excited to work on this with gaudmire member @aribethzy

@el_jipty@_buildspace@_nightsweekends this is cool, exploring the future through a modern lens gives the opportunity for some cool juxtaposition and social commentary.
@awstian@_buildspace@_nightsweekends I like this, I think what someone curates culturally shows who they are. I could see partners giving each other their "channels" in order to better understand each other.
@shaunchander@_buildspace@_nightsweekends I like this. When I was a student, keeping track of everything was a pain in the ass. Do you have plans to integrate or develop your own tooling?
@Legendari16 @aribethzy@_buildspace Great question, I would go off the original five pillars as envisioned in Harlem. MCing (oral), DJing (aural), Breakdance (Physical), Graffiti (Visual), and Knowledge (Mental)
@Untzr_@_buildspace@_nightsweekends I like this. A lot of people are getting into the digital nomad lifestyle and it can be hard to find an entry point or an example of what that lifestyle is like.
