@drdvils To make it clear, as I had in my reviews of the episodes of Monarch Season 2 that he appeared in, Godzilla was definitely enjoyable when we did get scenes with him. He just unfortunately appeared a tad less than he should have to carry an impact like he does in the movies.

Overall, Godzilla: King of the Monsters is still easily a great Monsterverse movie. I unfortunately cannot say it beats Kong: Skull Island in my personal opinion. But it definitely still is my favorite out of the two solo Godzilla movies in the Monsterverse.

9/10 for me!

Just finished rewatching Godzilla: King of the Monsters for its 7th Anniversary! And I have to say… It still is a great movie overall and very much my second favorite Monsterverse movie.🧵

However, I am not a big fan of how they utilize the Oxygen Destroyer as it downplays what it represented in Godzilla (1954). Now, if they actually shown the results that came with it being used after the events of KOTM, it could be redeemed. And no, I don’t mean with Destoroyah.
