@cradu__ @jagerssbu Also, when I think of “mashing”, I think of being able to throw out 1 or 2 strong safe moves constantly that either autocancel or don’t have much end lag at all, and usually get a ton of reward of hit. Sure joker can throw out back air a lot, but it heavily depends on the matchup

@cradu__ @jagerssbu Also, when the joker player gets Arsene, they’re forced to try to interact with you which can become very telegraphed, and easy to camp him out to run out his Arsene. Joker doesn’t have any crazy moves to force interactions, he still has to rely mostly on movement to get in.

Fair 1 doesn’t autocancel, and doesn’t have little enough end lag to truly be able to mash another option afterward, he’s forced to shield or jump again. Most times I see people fair 1, they’re either mashing it (unsafe) or they get a read.
