@HenryJackson87 Isak has been shocking and anyone who’s attempted to play rb apart from Curtis jones have consistently been the worst player on the pitch. Outside of Szoboslai when cm and Ngumoha I think an argument could be made for all of the first team being way below their best levels.
@CharuSan83 You’re an anonymous account with an anime profile picture. Anyone taking anything you say seriously or as investment advice from you is either desperate or mentally unstable.
@Corballyred 1000%. He should have been sacked in November after the PSV embarrassment. Get him gone today and go get Alonso. The team will win the last game managerless with the Anfield atmosphere on the last day.
@Corballyred@AnfieldSector@Matt_Barlow_DM I think as long as he’s for the squad he could be a good addition. HG quota, plays multiple positions. A bit like when we got Milner but for the forward line. I’d not like it if he was our starting rw to replace Salah though, that would be awful.
@Corballyred Foul I’m afraid. The swing moment in the game was Fernandes missing the easiest chance you’ll ever see. Absolutely had to score and hits it at Raya. A low moment for football this lot winning anything though I agree.
@Watch_LFC Rb is wrong they will address this position, I think we’ve agreed senesi on a free for cb cover also.. think Alison moving on has legs. Anderson is going to Man City, we will get Wharton. Winger I’m unsure of, I know we like diomonde but I think they end up with Bowen+barcola.
@Corballyred I don’t think he’s good in a 4 back and certainly isn’t a right winger. Was fantastic for levurkusen as a wing back in a 3/5. I’m not passing judgement on him under slot. If I judged the squad on this season we’d be left with about 3 players.
@LFCLaurie Incorrect. Since Trent left we can’t pass the ball and control games. Wharton gives you that. We’ll get counter attacked so much less with his passes leading to us shooting more often than losing the ball.
@AnfieldRd96 Agree they were awful decisions but our performance was disgusting and we ultimately got what we deserved over the game. No identity, big players not stepping up. It’s worrying times for the club.
@abiolaomobaba@Corballyred He’s playing in a team and squad about 1/8 of our value currently that makes a big difference. Who do we have that can pass at an elite level since Trent left? Wharton a winger and a rb/cb hybrid and we’ll be challenging again next season despite Slot.
@abiolaomobaba@Corballyred I disagree, none of our current midfielders are natural passers. Szobo covers ground relentlessly, gravenberch is an elite press resistant dribbler and macallister is better deployed further forward. Wharton will fill the void left by Trent and dictate tempo of games.
@Corballyred He’s a good player, he’s English which we need. I don’t disagree with what you are saying about how he plays, he’s more Michael Carrick than Fabinho but I actually think that’s what the team is missing more than protection. Since Trent left we have little play making from deep.
@StuartLaing12 Lies you’ve just bought packs, if you’d said 600k-1.5m it would have been semi believable but with min 4h listings 600k 5x would take more than a few days. It’s obvious you’re partial to the store, you have yaxel.
@Keir_Starmer How about stop putting them up in hotels and deport them on arrival? We need to look after ourselves first. This sort of thing was the only outcome. Allowing unchecked fighting age men from barbaric cultures who hate us to be supported by the working man’s tax isn’t right.
@pythaginboots What is “peak saka”? He’s horribly overrated if you look at it fairly he’s a slightly above average premier league winger with stats closer to Jared Bowen than someone like Salah, mane or hazard. I agree he has the excuse of playing for Arteta but we’ve never seen elite output.
@MusialaEra It would be up to the club mainly, some will have contracts with relegation release clauses at a lower than market transfer value, others the club will need to loan or sell to lower the wage level to appropriate for the championship.
@Corballyred Been okay, took some time to get up to speed then hampered by an injury.. He’s looking better in the second games vs teams which shows he’s adapting. That said, for the fee he needs to be consistently making match winning contributions not just complimenting next season.
