It doesn’t take days, weeks or months to like a project from these rappers G
If it doesn’t hit u on the first run, then it’s more than likely it won’t grow on you man .. I ain’t settling for the lackluster performances mayne ..
@RealRobinsonIV@DoggieDiamonds And layer your sounds correctly. That’s one intricate production step a lot of folks sleep on. Layering kicks and snares with a bottom beat.
Peace
DJ Premier sucks .. nah, he str8 .. but yall muh’fuggahz are too much of a fan to realize the bullshyt production he outputs tho
Pete Rock has done much better with his projects fo sho ..
@RealRobinsonIV@DoggieDiamonds I’m checked out with mediocrity from legacy artists/producers lol. Respectfully, I won’t be holding my breath for a next one. Pete Rock should’ve done the Nas joint. Still the best to this day IMO. His sounds and samples are still colorful and soulful. Still uses XL too.
@RealRobinsonIV@DoggieDiamonds That’s what created that magic back in the days and made albums what they were. I thought Preem was hell bent on making the beats on the spot with the artist there and recording in the same room. This project did not sound like that.
@RealRobinsonIV@DoggieDiamonds I definitely agree with that too. Something is missing from this project either way man. Sounds like he was sampling instruments and preset sounds on certain tracks. It’s lacking soul on the production side I’m sorry
@charliekirk11 Yes! I myself have been battling a dark cloud over me since the tragic event 2 days ago 🤦🏽♂️ I can’t get that image out of my head I’m sorry. 🕊️
