BREAKING: New York State Attorney General Letitia James breaks her silence, responding to Trump's retaliation against her and hands him his ass.
Letitia James is a fearless woman. Must-watch:
My friend just told me "remember to take a poop just before midnight so you don't carry the same shit with you into 2025" and it's the best thing I've heard today! 😂😂😂
@BexWords@wooferz12@LemonSturgis@Odgomez26 Absolutely! Wait—you mean they’re the SAME? 🤯 That misunderstanding is frankly, sad. I have encountered people who thought they were shafted in the Marketplace, very against O-care; and that’s when I’d say, “Oh, you mean the ACA?”
Also, free BC.
@BexWords@wooferz12@LemonSturgis@Odgomez26 Wow—and that is a story worth sharing!! I feel like the rollout of ACA was so clunky, in an effort to get it out as fast as possible, they forgot general-knowledge training tools. Or, better yet pamphlets that did the comparison for the consumer. Visuals are impactful!
@wooferz12@LemonSturgis@Odgomez26 Like, do you know how tax credits work? Granted the mandate is gone, but yeah. There is so much rumor and mystery about ACA—like, read? It’s really not that bad. 🤷🏽♀️. I’m super down with free preventive care and insurers not price-gouging, or just not insuring me for a pre-X!
@wooferz12@LemonSturgis@Odgomez26 Back then as a 20something, not able to be insured due to PreX conditions, the ACA coverage was unquestionably favorable to no/limited, and cost prohibitively expensive coverage.
@wooferz12@LemonSturgis@Odgomez26 🤦🏽♀️ ACA is/was an effort to make healthcare affordable & accessible to folks without adequate or any health insurance coverage.
The ACA wasn’t hocking shitty limited indemnity plans maxxing-out at 5 appts a year due to pre-existing conditions precluding you from coverage/care…
@wooferz12@LemonSturgis@Odgomez26 and you will see a big difference between No ACA and Pro ACA.
While there are gagilion points to ponder about the US HC system, this was the best that could be pushed through at the time.
@wooferz12@LemonSturgis@Odgomez26 NO.
The ACA is a set of guidelines and essential health standards insurers must follow to be A A compliant. Essential health coverage for everyone. Knowing where to find the info can be tricky, here is a link I found:
