Girls protesting peacefully for their rights had their clothes torn during today’s protest. Is this democracy or brutality? The voices of unemployed ETT teachers cannot be silenced with force. Shame. #ETT5994#Punjab#womeninsult@harjotbains@TalkwithRattan
@harjotbains Punjab’s Education Minister must answer: how long will you keep fooling people in the name of “ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਕ੍ਰਾਂਤੀ” and development? Thousands of qualified E.T.T. candidates are still jobless even after clearing all required exams. Out of 5994 posts, only around 2500 have received appointments. These candidates, including young girls and women, have been protesting outside the gate of the Department of Education for 82 days, sleeping in the cold nights just to get justice. This is not “ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਕ੍ਰਾਂਤੀ.” This is failure and negligence. We as E.T.T. candidates should deserve fairness, transparency, and immediate appointments.
We cleared required exams and are eligible for 5994 ETT posts, yet only 2,500 appointments were issued in April. For nearly 80 days we’ve been protesting and even held a candle march in Mohali. We request the Education Minister to take action on the remaining appointments @harjotbains@BhagwantMann@AAPPunjab
