Rumours are spreading worldwide that the Epstein Files reveal the true identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, but this is completely false.

The individual mentioned in the Epstein Files, Brock Pierce, is the co-founder of Tether and also the co-founder of the Bitfinex exchange. In 2014, following the Bitfinex hacking incident, a token called Realcoin was issued as compensation to users for their losses. Later that same year, Realcoin was rebranded as Tether.

* What matters is behaviour, not belief

I've known this for a while:

* The West is based on 'Orthodoxy', i.e. right knowledge, the dogma's of knowledge that can save you from error, expressed through religion or through secular ideologies.

* The 'East', is based on 'Orthopraxy', the right conduct, and what you think is less important than how you behave.

Thus, traditional premodern Western societies monitored right thinking and traditional premodern Eastern societies monitored right behavior.

Religious civil wars in Europe were conducted around creed, in Southeast Asia, about whether Buddhist monks should have their left or right shoulder naked.

Even today, a nominally Theravada Buddhist temple in Thailand will have: multiple Buddha figures, Kuang In, a Chinese Mahayana goddess, monk-saints, thai warrior kings, the Hindu Ganesh, even Mao as a powerful Taoist spirit, regardless of his ideology. To be honest, if Christians would not be upset by it, they would carry Jesus as well. In Doi Saket, Thailand, near my home, there is a mural in the Buddhist temple, with superheroes, including one that would really upset Europeans (starts with an 'H'). They all have spiritual power, and that is what matters.

In a Kunming temple a few days ago, in a indigenous village, I visited a Sun temple, same thing, inside the Sun temple, multiple figures from what we consider separate traditions, co-existed. Compare with the Christian attitude. Our neighbour is a Christian 'woke' evangelical Church, and the first thing they asked, was for us to remove our spirit shrine, considered demonic. What mattered to them is the right belief, i.e. ortho-doxy.

Now if you compare Singapore and mainland China, there are lots of differences, but there is also huge similarity in how the ruling strata manage the country. Singapore is just a 'right-wing' socialist country, with the state mandarins protecting the common good as they see it. The ideology matters less, than maintaining the social order through ethically motivated Mandarins. It's the practice, the ortho-praxy, which is maintained.

Meme Coin presales, or ICOs, enable new crypto projects to raise funds. Most ICOs accept popular coins, such as ETH and USDT. Investments are typically made by connecting a wallet to the ICO website. A smart contract is automatically generated, which transfers the coins to the ICO wallet.

The best crypto presales come without minimum investment requirements, which significantly lowers the barrier to entry. ICOs often set a hard card target, which is the maximum amount the project aims to raise. There’s often a soft cap, too, which is the minimum funding amount.
