So this is the GTA 6 map, nearly finalized now by the mapping project as organized by Yanis.

The design is frankly genius as it is far wider than GTA 5 with much more variety in roads to take, there is no one big highway that goes around the whole map the fastest. You HAVE to cut through the middle very often!

There is also plenty of smaller towns outside of Vice City, so the map is far more dense than GTA 5 which had nothing between LS and Blaine County.

In terms or scale, considering this is double the size of GTA 5, I can see missions that require you to go all the way down to the keys as maybe being frustrating as its the only place thats very out of the way with one linear road. But it will never get boring to just explore at this scale and density.

One thing I find a bit weird is the scale of the airport, it’s nearly half the size of the city itself so I hope that doesn’t feel jarring in-game.

I am very excited to see what secrets and easter eggs all the islands around the map hold, bet there’s some insane things on these aside from being very beautiful places.

Safe to say, Rockstar is cooking and it will be a great time exploring this for the many thousands of hours across story and online soon!
