Yeah well you still went on with it in the end. But still the final question is always if you can live with the alternative. Personally with these things I always had the problem where I used to see the canvas of the present at nose length, while looking at the picture of the past and future clearly.

Only with time I learned that while I won't ever truly step back and see the painting, I can at least imagine it, and by doing so, knew which things I would regret if I didn't do, just like I regret some things about the past.
