The importance of reading cannot be overstated. Reading expands your mind, sharpens your thinking, improves your vocabulary and communication, strengthens your ability to express yourself, and exposes you to ideas, experiences, cultures, and perspectives beyond your immediate environment. The more you read, the more you understand the world and the people in it.
Ensure you read something today, even if it’s just a page. I have a couple of books on my pinned tweet for us to read throughout 2026. Pick a book for September and get right into it. Don’t wait for the perfect time or convince yourself that you need hours to read. Start with a page, then another, and keep going.
No time spent reading is ever wasted. Every page adds something to you. Every book broadens your mind. You are only as broad as what you read.
The fact that some people think Video Games, Anime, Cartoons etc are for children is funny.
You think PS5 and GTA6, FC26, 2K, MK etc are for kids? Lmao. OK
There are many types of games on PS5 that challenge you to think deeply, solve problems, make quick decisions, and develop strategies. Those skills can also be useful in real life. This pastor might have less knowledge about gaming.
Imagine being 38 and thinking playing video games is a sign that someone’s life is a joke. 😭Pastor Sir, the problem isn’t that a 38 year old still plays games. The problem is a grown man standing in a church, using another adult’s harmless hobby to measure the worth of his life……..Gaming has engineers, doctors, lawyers, entrepreneurs, athletes, fathers, mothers and CEOs playing after work. The console doesn’t care about your age. Neither does happiness…….If your definition of “success” requires grown adults to stop enjoying things they love just because they got older, maybe the joke isn’t the PlayStation. 🤷🏾♂️Imagine preaching purpose while teaching people to be ashamed of joy. 😭
Semenyo’s girlfriend comments on Ghanaians🇬🇭:
“You guys are so funny. Honestly, at the games you guys have the best energy, and I love it,” – Mrs. Semenyo on TikTok Live
🇬🇭 “I had a girlfriend in Ghana. I had my family marry her on my behalf and later brought her abroad, but she left me for another man. I married another woman from Ghana and brought her here too. We had two children together, but she also left. I married again and now have three children with my current wife, but she keeps asking when I will come and bring her abroad.”
— A Ghanaian man living overseas recounts multiple failed marriages involving partners from Ghana, each ending in separation despite his efforts to build a stable family. He says his current wife’s repeated requests to join him abroad have left him devastated and fearful of experiencing the same outcome again.
