She found kindness in Canada and built a loving home with her partner and children. But her PR has been stuck in IRCC’s security screening for years, leaving their future uncertain. Her story shows how delays decide whether families can stay together.#IRCC#cdnpoli#cdnimm#e7259
@yuenpauwoo@VancouverSun I’m with Yuen Pau Woo on this - we should be careful about making big claims without clear evidence. It’s too easy for that to turn into unfair assumptions about entire groups.
@yuenpauwoo@lei45387984@CitImmCanada Everyone sign e-petition 7259! For Transparency, Fairness, and end indefinite PR security screening delay. Immigrants are never and should never be the scapegoats for politicians' poor policies to excuse for their ineptitude and lack of accountability. #IRCCSecurityScreeningDelay
@SenatorVictorOh Thank you Senator Oh for that bringing this to light. My family and I appreciate your presence and support. This issue really matters to us and our families, many of the people whose voices need to be heard!
🌹🇨🇦🇨🇦🌹 Standing with the Chinese-Canadian community at Parliament Hill today to address the unacceptable delays in PR processing.

The applications are typically stuck at “security screening” with no indication of how long it will take. Many came to 🇨🇦 under “express” streams and were promised speedy approval. They feel let down by a country they have been contributing to for years.
I joined with 200+ professionals, skilled workers, students, community workers, caregivers ++ who gathered on Parliament Hill to protest the unreasonable @CitImmCanada delays in processing their citizenship applications — amounting to as much as 90 months!
@yuenpauwoo Many thanks for your attention and support for this issue. This really matters to tens of thousands of people who have contributed to building Canadian economy and their families! That applies to Chinese, Iranians and others.
@CoralYudf2010@CitImmCanada Haha sitting in the same situation. Many of my colleagues moved to the U.S. for higher salaries and a more vibrant job market, instead of waiting for this endless security screening process to end.
@01CuriousGeorge@DSaid62997@CPAC_TV Oh that’s good for you. I am a phd and also speak three languages fluently. I have lived in the U.S., Europe and Singapore. Have you been to any communist countries that you dislike?
