@LittleN33476884 You have to be a world fanboy if you think that’s what anybody said. No, the performance was not excusable, but let’s not pretend like World was perfect either like you tried to imply.
@LittleN33476884@CaoSlayerGL Experimenting with in Wilds, they took out the clutch claw because it was a massive reason for why the Iceborne dlc launched to extremely mixed ratings due to it making the combat tedious.
These games are built on gimmicks and will always be polarizing to the new fans.
@LittleN33476884@CaoSlayerGL Also to pretend as if all of these poorly received mechanics were just magically fixed pre-G rank or before a second game is yet another lie. Focus didn’t exist before Wilds, Underwater combat being removed was more of a technical limitation at the time that they’re only now-
@LittleN33476884@CaoSlayerGL Monster mounting was seen as a terrible addition by MH players when it was added in 4, people felt decos were terrible in Dos when it came out, clutch claw, vets despised being able to move while healing in World. This shit happens every game and it will continue to happen, Fiver
@LittleN33476884@5HeadAsshole@CaoSlayerGL Nobody is excusing Wild’s performance (which honestly has more or less been completely fixed by now) but you’re just dodging the fact that world did have some atrocious optimization when it came out and it wasn’t really addressed until G Rank came out.
@SkyriderXiii@BigSisMeryl You gotta survive in a corporate universe that made weaponry for civilians entirely illegal and impossible to obtain to prevent any uprisings against the corporations. Thats the lore reason anyways
@CmdrWiggley@BigSisMeryl Have yall actually tried hitting the mango or marrowbreach on the face with the survival tool? Cause that will actually function the same as SN1’s knife forcing creatures away. It just doesn’t do damage
@RedIQueenIAlice@Moritz_Katzner@StopKilingGames Honestly that was probably the game that actually radicalized me. Subnautica 2 is doing well though, Theres been nothing but praise for the game and this is really the only problem people have but most people either don’t know/don’t care and the ones who do care blame Krafton
@RedIQueenIAlice@Moritz_Katzner@StopKilingGames They’re still going through it unfortunately because of this and the Subnautica games are still getting shit on for being loosely pro-environment and anti-gun games
@RedIQueenIAlice@Moritz_Katzner@StopKilingGames We can only hope that one day Krafton will eat shit and UWE will not only take that $250Million but will also be given their independence and IP back.
@RedIQueenIAlice@Moritz_Katzner@StopKilingGames Nono, im saying valve was the outlier of the video policy. I brought up BL3 because it WAS the game I knew for a fact had that awful policy that eventually was changed once people got outraged by it. I apologize if I’m not making a ton of sense, I’ve been up since 01:00.
@RedIQueenIAlice@Moritz_Katzner@StopKilingGames You Could be, hell, I could too. It’s just a terrible instance of people not educating themselves and then suddenly deciding to become conscious once it comes time to make the hard choice of willingly accepting that shitty EULA or letting the corporation scam it’s abused workers.
@RedIQueenIAlice@Moritz_Katzner@StopKilingGames BL3 was just the perfect example of the old EULAs prohibiting live streaming and video uploading which I believe were eventually changed to be clearer about specific types of websites you could upload/stream to but that didn’t change how I personally felt back when I read it.
