A lot of new CCAs have to wait until they get their allowance for uniforms.

@ClownWorld If that was my route, I would have asked for her key. I would show both keys to her, so she could see the difference. I would have shown her how to use it. Obviously, she needs step by step instructions. If she can't figure it out after that, then that's on her.

@BrandonDonkey2 At work. They pick on me because I have never had a corn dog. They just don't look appealing to me.
My Dad used to eat raw potatoes, so I gave it try and liked them. Raw veggies right from a garden are the best.

@BrandonDonkey2 Yeah, that's me. Not raw tomatoes but I do like foods with tomato sauce. I don't eat a lot of ketchup. Sometimes a little for my fries and hamburgers. None on my hot dogs or brats.
Don't drink tomato juice, but love tomato soup.

@galluslass @martinemaryer @Rothbury01669 My Mom would go grocery shopping every Friday in that town, and maybe once every 2 or 3 months we would stop at KFC, to bring dinner home. That was a big treat for us.
If we went out to eat, it was local Supper Clubs on a Friday night and that was once a month.

@Rothbury01669 I was 21 and a cook in the Army. I don't remember exactly why, but one of my NCOs asked me something about Chinese food. She was shocked and couldn't believe it when I told her that I had never tried Chinese food.

@martinemaryer @Rothbury01669 To this day there is still no fast food joints in my hometown. Not sure why it's so hard for people to understand that not everyone grew up on fast food. We would have to drive an hour to hit any other fast food joints.

@martinemaryer @Rothbury01669 We get that fast food joints have been around a long time. It doesn't mean that there was one located in every town. We had an A&W in our town until mid 80's. The town 15 minutes away had KFC, and then they got Hardees in '81. Later on they got a Pizza Hut and McDonalds.

@raven_brah parents that i know, were never going to fast food joints on a regular basis. We would go to Supper clubs, maybe once a month to eat out.
To this day, my Mom still makes homemade bread, sweet rolls, dumplings( not the bisquick kind) and noodles.

@raven_brah Did not grow up eating fast food. My Dad would come home from work,and start peeling potatoes. My Mom would get home and start making a dessert, or a salad.
My Mom spent more money on gallons of milk, in a month, than she ever did on Fast food. All the boomer
