Jesus Christ truly is King. I am brought to tears 🙏
Country music legend Dolly Parton died “peacefully” at age 80 in Nashville, Tennessee, her family said. @AnthonyMasonCBS looks back at her hitmaking career, which spanned six decades. https://t.co/VBQIkoC5nq
I am ready
Oh, my children
When Jesus knocks at my door
I'll be there come morning
Don't weep for me
I'll be with my Lord
There's my Bible on the table
Read it to me once more
I can hear God's heavenly angels
Singing me on through heaven's door
Hallelujah Lord
I am ready
No more sorrow
Hallelujah, yes
I am ready, I am ready
I am ready to go
Oh, Hosanna
Take my hand now
Lead me to the promised land now
I am ready, I am ready
Hallelujah, I am ready to go
Oh, Hosanna
I am ready to go
I can hear God's heavenly angels
Singing me on through heaven's door
Singing me on through heaven's door
And I am ready
(Dolly Parton, “I Am Ready,” 1999).
@DollyParton Dolly Parton: “My faith impacts everything that I do because I do believe that, through God, all things are possible.”
RIP Dolly. Faithful til the end.
🔥 Great Read 🔥
🔴 USA…and the world just found out exactly who Trump brought to China. And when I counted every single name in that room — I genuinely had to sit down. Marco Rubio. Pete Hegseth. Elon Musk. Tim Cook. The top 30 businessmen in the entire world — every single one of them said yes when Trump called — sitting at that table in Beijing representing 330 million Americans who were fast asleep when this photograph was taken.
⚪️ And then I looked at Trump sitting right in the center of all of it — red tie, composed, completely in control — and Xi Jinping walking beside him on that red carpet — and I thought about what this image actually tells the whole world. America did not send one man to China. America sent everything it had. Every CEO. Every official. Every person who matters.
🔵 All of them in one room. On Chinese soil. For America. And Trump assembled every single one of them. Because that is what a real President does — he does not walk into the most important room in the world alone — he walks in with the full weight of the greatest nation on earth behind him.
🔴 ⚪️ 🔵 God, thank you for this moment. And please make every conversation in that room count for America. 🙏❤️🇺🇸 If this photograph of America’s full power in Beijing moved something in you — tell me what you felt seeing it.

THE MAN WHO LIVES LIKE A KING NEXT DOOR TO THE ÉLYSÉE — ON NIGERIA’S MONEY
By Kio Amachree | Stockholm, Sweden | President, Worldview International
Gilbert Chagoury lives on the Rue d’Iéna, a few metres from the Élysée Palace — the official residence of the President of France. Let that image settle. The Élysée sits on the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris’s 8th arrondissement — among the most exclusive addresses on earth. This is where Gilbert Chagoury has planted himself. This is where Nigeria’s wealth goes to retire.
He did not build his fortune in France. He built it in Nigeria — on Nigerian land, Nigerian contracts, Nigerian government access, and the blood of a Nigerian dictator named Abacha.
A court in Switzerland convicted Chagoury for his involvement in what was globally seen as epic treasury looting and money laundering after Abacha’s death — a man whom Chagoury served as personal economic adviser. He was caught. He paid. He walked free. And then Nigeria welcomed him back with open arms and an open treasury.
Now he is doing it again — this time in plain sight, with presidential blessing.
Since President Bola Tinubu took office, Chagoury has quietly cornered over $12.7 billion in federal contracts — equivalent to nearly ₦20 trillion. Think about that number. The crown jewel is the controversial $11 billion Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, handed to Chagoury’s Hitech Construction Company without a single day of competitive bidding. His firm ITB Nigeria then grabbed a $700 million contract for the Lagos ports renovation — a firm with no experience in the port sector — because, as Africa Intelligence reported, there had been “very little doubt” about who would win.
There was no doubt because there was no competition. There was only a phone call between friends.
The relationship between Tinubu and the Chagoury brothers goes back to at least 2007, when Tinubu as Lagos Governor granted the Chagoury Group title to 10 million square metres of prime Lagos seashore. From that gift of public land, Chagoury built Eko Atlantic City. The President’s son, Seyi Tinubu, holds board positions within the Chagoury corporate web and was a majority shareholder in a British Virgin Islands company alongside Ronald Chagoury Jr. The BVI — chosen for its corporate anonymity.
This is not business. This is a family arrangement financed by the Nigerian people.
And as a formal thank-you from the presidency, Chagoury was conferred with the GCON — Nigeria’s second-highest national honour. The Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger. Handed to a man with a Swiss money laundering conviction. Handed to a man whose firms strip-mine Nigerian public contracts and reinvest the proceeds in Paris real estate.
He digs the roads. Nigeria pays the bill. He takes the profits home to the 8th arrondissement.
Meanwhile — not one senior Nigerian engineer runs his operations. Not one. Nigeria has two million engineers. They are good enough to lay the concrete but not good enough to control the contracts.
This is not investment. This is extraction with a ribbon on it.
Nigeria keeps awarding billions to the same foreign billionaire while Nigerian engineering firms starve for work, Nigerian graduates queue for jobs that don’t exist, and Nigerian wealth evaporates quietly into French luxury postcodes.
No self-respecting nation on earth permits this. Not France. Not China. Not India. Not Saudi Arabia. Not even Benin Republic.
Nigeria alone hands the keys of its treasury to a foreign national convicted of looting it — and then decorates him.
It has to stop. Not tomorrow. Now.

Even in a world that constantly tells people to glorify themselves, there are still voices willing to admit their need for God. Charlie Kirk’s words reflect something the Bible has always taught — that no person is perfect, and every one of us falls short without Jesus Christ. True faith begins with humility. Not pretending to be flawless, but recognizing our weakness and understanding our need for grace, mercy, and salvation through Christ alone.
For many people, success, influence, and recognition become their identity. But moments like this remind us that fame can never replace faith, and achievements can never replace the presence of God. Jesus remains the hope of sinners, the healer of broken people, and the Savior of all who come to Him.
The Bible was written on three continents:
- Europe
- Asia
- Africa
In three languages:
- Hebrew
- Aramaic
- Greek
By over 40 different men:
- Kings
- Prophets
- Fishermen
- A doctor
Yet it tells one unified story:
- Creation
- Fall
- Redemption
- Christ
God is incredible.
I’m looking forward to being part of America Reads the Bible, a week-long event where the entire Bible will be read aloud in honor of our nation’s 250th anniversary! I’ll be reading Luke 10, including the parable of the Good Samaritan—a passage that inspired the name and mission of @SamaritansPurse. You can attend the event in Washington D.C. at @museumofBible, or join online. Visit https://t.co/Au9qFWSPYn for more information. @AmericaRTBible
