@SofiaCann1 Such a horrendous experience for you but also sadly so common- the approach from individual officers can be so far removed from being victim centred/ victims lead that further trauma is almost inevitable

COPFS can only deal with what they see- this means that where there are any deficiencies in recording or reporting, the extent to which victims are potentially being let down by #PoliceScotland is hidden. Victims have little power to push against this or expose poor treatment.

Police Perpetrated Domestic Abuse should NOT Be investigated by the same force. Today's response to the Centre for Women's Justice super-complaint recommends going to another force where there may be a conflict of interest. In the same force there is ALWAYS a conflict of interest

Prosecution volumes are far too low. Drastic improvements are needed to keep #DomesticAbuse victims safe + to hold perpetrators to account.
