@Marena24348244 @realDonaldTrump 1 Timothy 3:1-16
“If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he [...] must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not a drunkard, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money.”
@lionlamb22 @realDonaldTrump And recall that I have not argued politics, I quoted the Bible directly, so arguments that I am a bad person for not being a Republican are irrelevant as a quote is not my words
@lionlamb22 @realDonaldTrump If you must know, I am an independent, not defined by any one Party in this divisive two-party system which George Washington warned us against
@lionlamb22 @realDonaldTrump Never said I was a Democrat. Also, I respect that the government should not be a theocracy because even in the Bible it even talks about separation of church and state (“give to God what is God’s give to Caesar what is Caesar’s”) and I respect that others have different beliefs
@lionlamb22 @realDonaldTrump And you were the one who decided that quoting the Bible meant I was a soulless bot trying to manipulate you, but I can assure you that is a real quote, not something made up by algorithms
@lionlamb22 @realDonaldTrump And as I provided a real quote and nothing else, it was you who determined that quote described the opposite of Trump, that immediately called me either a bot or a Never-Trumper
@lionlamb22 @realDonaldTrump I respond with a Bible quote, nothing else, you call me soulless or say I am trying to shatter souls, not sure what you mean there. I did nothing to suggest that was my goal. If you think quoting the Bible, which you did as well in that picture, makes one soulless, your problem
@BertPratt4 @lionlamb22 @realDonaldTrump “He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing. And you are to love those who are foreigners, for you yourselves were foreigners in Egypt.”

@quiver_1 @RachelleHoller @realDonaldTrump conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people."
@quiver_1 @RachelleHoller @realDonaldTrump Here's another not specific to a leader
2 Timothy 3:1-5
"People will be lovers of themselves, [...] of money, boastful, proud, abusive, [...] ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash...
@quiver_1 @RachelleHoller @realDonaldTrump Describing what qualifies them for the position to be righteous leaders. What is to be expected. This is from a letter on the formation of a church and what is expected of a leader in that instance, so how does it not still speak to what we should expect of a leader?
@AmericanAuburn @realDonaldTrump “He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing. And you are to love those who are foreigners, for you yourselves were foreigners in Egypt.”
