Thank you @CollSportsComm for an outstanding time at #CSCUnite26 this year! It was great to chat with fellow colleagues who I haven’t seen in a few years and continued to learn more about our industry and myself as a person and professional. Til next year ✌️
It truly is good to be back #CSCUnite26. Did the two mile walk for @SpecialOlympics and learned a lot about hiring the next generation as a first time leader. Can’t wait for more!
21 years ago, I was given the worst news a 10 year old could hear, “you have brain cancer”. But with great thanks to my medical team, a positive attitude, and faith, I overcame the cancer. Here’s to 21 years cancer free and for many more years to come. 🙂

Today, FDU Senior Associate Vice President/Athletic Director Bradford Hurlbut announced his plans to retire at the end of June.
Hurlbut oversaw a true ‘golden’ era of Knights Athletics, which included unprecedented success and the strengthening of FDU’s national profile. We thank him for seven years of tremendous leadership.

This is a disservice to not just the SID’s, at Cal but it’s a disservice to the student-athletes. I doubt this Strawberry Creek Studios knows how to do all the duties of an ath comm department in the proper way that these student-athletes deserve.
Cal Athletics informed staff on Friday that all members of the department’s marketing, athletic communications &creative services units — possibly as many as 25 people — will be laid off, effective early June, as part of a strategy for a “complete redefinition of how we operate.”
Firing your entire athletic comms staff is really dumb, because they have a LOT of roles that are not just promotion (website, social media), but also in NCAA-mandated record-keeping and statistical work for all sports. They also help broadcasters/media promote to a mass audience
Congrats to women’s basketball head coach Mike Seney being named the 2026 @NJCAA Mid-Atlantic District Coach of the Year! 🏆

First road-trip with our men’s basketball team was certainly memorable. Being able to document their journey during the @NJCAA basketball tournament is something I’ll never forget.
