My client David went from an 11 handicap to a 2 handicap after a few months of working with me…
He also shot 5 under par in a tournament round.
Here’s exactly how he did it:
When David came to me he was consistently shanking the ball.
I think he was too steep over the top (but he’ll never admit to that)…
Another issue with him was his hipsway.
Which was causing him tons of inconsistent low points in his swing.
So I spent some time evaluating him and coming up with certain drills that would help him develop as a golfer.
Because these issues are pretty common amongst most golfers, it was difficult to personalize them to fit his needs…
After a few days of trial and error, we finally came up with a few drills.
We worked on some body drills to eliminate his hipsway…
And after a week or so of practice he completely got rid of it.
He started hitting the ball way better, but that wasn’t all.
We also needed to clean up his steepness in the downswing…
But once we did, it was like night and day.
These drills led to solid strikes and his scores began to drop fast.
And within 90 days, he had 5 scores under par and his handicap dropped SIGNIFICANTLY.
How to set yourself up for failure on the golf course?
Don’t pay any attention to mobility and fitness.
Instead, follow a set guide that sets you up for success.
Luckily you don’t have to make one yourself, because I made it for you…
