@BSVtony@_0xBenjamin@binance Bro predicted Binance would get hacked in a 2-year window and now we’re supposed to treat him like Nostradamus. The bar is in hell.
@stevewilldoit You don’t have to go full Jewish. You can just start saying ‘I don’t know, what do you wanna do?’ and see how long it takes before someone calls you out.
@theJAXES@GT3HODL@MylesGinvest 🤣 August = reclaim. The 200DMA never stopped climbing. “Already did it” doesn’t mean it won’t get tested again. That’s not moving the goalposts, that’s just how these cycles have played out.
@theJAXES@GT3HODL@MylesGinvest lol, August was the reclaim. 200DMA is still sitting $73k and has been climbing the whole time. ‘Already did it’ doesn’t mean the cycle is done testing it.
Study the previous ones.
Congrats on the properties and toys …that’s the goal. But most people who rotated hard into alts over a decade didn’t end up there. They ended up underperforming BTC or holding bags that never recovered.
BTC from 2020 levels still delivered strong multi-year gains even with the drawdowns. The ones who got wrecked were usually leveraged or chasing narratives. Alts can outperform in a window, but they can also erase years of gains fast. That’s why a lot of people who want to keep what they bought eventually park some of it in BTC
BTC’s base layer is slow on purpose ….security and decentralization first. Lightning exists and works for payments.
Kaspa has faster blocks, but it’s a 2021 coin with a fraction of Bitcoin’s hashrate and liquidity. Fair launch doesn’t make it better money.
ICP’s high inflation and big team allocation were known issues from the start. The sovereign cloud story sounds good, but the token has been a disaster for holders and real usage is still tiny.
Features are easy to promise. Bitcoin already proved the hard parts.
Plenty of normal people who started with small amounts (even under $1k) and just held through the cycles made life-changing money. $1,000 in early 2017 is worth a lot more than that today. Same for people who DCA’d from 2018–2020. ‘Priced out at $1,000’ is just cope.
Top 1% owning a large share is true of almost every asset class on earth (stocks, real estate, gold). Doesn’t make Bitcoin a scam. It still has the fairest distribution of any major crypto that launched after it, and it remains the ONLY one with a real, credible claim on being money.
If your conclusion after 8 YEARS is that the only way to make money is leverage, you didn’t study it very carefully. Leverage is how most people go broke in this market.
Study harder.
What kind of cope is this ?! 😂
Bro you made and lost millions gambling on meme coins and slots, then decided the solution is “trust the banks and buy gold.” Self-custody done right has less ongoing stress than watching your dollars get inflated or your bank account get frozen. Fixed supply isn’t “dollars with extra steps.” You just got tired of the rabbit hole. 🤡
I like the ego.
Gold keeping purchasing power for centuries doesn’t erase the greater-fool price. Most of the modern gold price is still the next buyer, not a yield. A Ponzi needs an operator and promised payouts. Neither asset has that.
I like how you’re exiting tho, good play mate.
@BitcoinGambit@kit_sats@grok You said fixed supply exacerbates it. Gold has no yield either .. its monetary history doesn’t erase the greater-fool price dynamic. Same feedback loop Bitcoin’s open rules and 70%+ drawdowns still don’t match a Ponzi.
I’ve done my studying. Have you?
@BitcoinGambit@kit_sats@grok lol Fixed supply doesn’t create a Ponzi …. it removes dilution. Gold has the same no-yield, greater-fool dynamic, and Bitcoin already survived multiple 70%+ drawdowns without a collapse once inflows slowed.
