Shipped today for the finals: PicoRouter, an Odra smart contract on Casper testnet.
When a fan pays for a Pico link, the contract atomically splits it 95/5 between creator + treasury, emits an on-chain receipt keyed to the link.
the agent story
And the whole thing runs without humans:
🤖 buyer agent: Claude decides what to buy on a CSPR budget
🤖 seller agent: Claude prices each link nightly from the views/sales funnel
📜 smart contract: settles the payment atomically on Casper
Pico just qualified for the Final Round of the Casper Agentic Buildathon 2026 🎉
Pico = pay-per-unlock links for creators — but also the first paywall AI agents can actually pay through (HTTP 402 + native CSPR).

@tomsmart_ai curious: is the dominant effect the rate-limit friction of payment signing filtering bots upstream, or something deeper in the relay layer (e.g. paid traffic hitting different facilitator paths than free)?
@tomsmart_ai the "payment gate as accidental load balancer" framing is sharp — running pico's x402 endpoints on base + celo, the paid routes have stayed measurably more stable than i'd have predicted, but i hadn't named the mechanism that clearly.
shipped the same x402 service across two chains — base via the coinbase facilitator, celo via thirdweb's. a few publisher-side observations that took me longer than expected to figure out:
net: x402 is the cleanest payment primitive i've found for micro-AI. two facilitators speaking the same protocol across two chains.
running it for pico — pennies of AI on farcaster:
