The #NHLBruins are stuck in middle ground. No stars have them on their list and they are picking in the second half of the first round. Tough place to improve from #GetBent
Post Tkachuk trade, I think the #NHLBruins need to take steps backwards to take a leap forwards.
FLA and CAR are going nowhere. Habs and Sabres are just beginning their contention window. Hard to imagine a realistic path to contention with 88/73/1 at their respective ages.
Don't think this is a revelatory take, but the Bruins losing out on that No. 6 or No. 7 pick from Toronto has been downright catastrophic for their offseason plans.
Yes, you could have taken a very good D prospect on Friday, but you also could have flipped it for a star.
Alas.
My sources tell me the Bruins weren’t in on Brady Tkachuk because they’re focused on a bigger fish. I’m hearing Sweeney is making a big push for Brian Gionta
RED CARD TO BELGIUM.
🗣️ USA FANS THIS IS MASSIVE RN.
If we were to win R32 game we would likely get the winner of this Group G (Belgium/Iran/NZ/Egypt) in the R16 if they were to win too. Belgium not being there would be huge
Currently, Germany would play Scotland in Boston to open the R32. There might not be enough beer in the state of Massachusetts to support those two fan bases if that comes to pass.
If Scotland draws or loses to Brazil in Miami on Wed. to finish 3rd in Group C, they’ll claim one of eight qualification places for the 3rd-ranked teams, the most likely scenario would see Tartan Army’s men facing Germany (winner of Group E) in Foxborough on the 29th at 4:30p.
If America beats Australia in Friday's World Cup match, celebrate at Steak n Shake on Saturday with a Patriot milkshake for only 20 cents!
Limited to one milkshake per customer.

Trade allows Bruins to move up 16 spots in fourth round and add fifth-round pick (they lost their own in Coyle to Colorado trade in 2024) while trading player who wasn't signing here.
