@_Beskar The fae are interesting because of their otherworldly nature and the odd rules they abide by, it's not their fault writers can't use that creatively
@NOVAWRLDFALLIN Maybe I'm overreacting but a lot of this discourse has been kinda pedophillic in it's subtext, people sure are saying crazy shit about the sexual activities of a child barely out of the womb.
@Abdoalaa279@spammy52@areyouawitchor2 It might genuinely be the worst state that has ever ruled Egypt, resurrecting the Ptolemies would be preferable and they're pretty bad too.
@Zhane_Star I think many of these writing rooms have a difficult time writing mother's in any role that isn't either dead mom character motivation or devouring mother archetype and they can't just, write a parent. Who has a relationship with their child.
@lemonellaaaa Recently a maga guy who beat his wife potentially got raped in prison and most of the replies enjoyed that fact. More recent discussion about COCSA has been vilifying toddlers. Nobody has any principles, I guess rape apologia and victim blaming is a constant on all sides.
@maejusticebe@starbennettt If you want to look up how many COCSA cases also involve two girls or girls abusing boys you can but I think you'd prefer to feel the comfort that by just not being a man you're morally justified in all things over actually listening to victims.
@favreaujoe63@ZUIQUANMASTER@YRNJPOX I'm talking about political behavior not theology although the militant sects obviously tied the two due to having either millenarian or charismatic tendencies in leadership. The Zaydis are the last of the sects that so heavily emphasize religious revolt.
@ZUIQUANMASTER@YRNJPOX Yeah but literally only the Zaydis survived of all of the militant sects, not even one more. At least of the pre-modern ones, debatable if you want to count modern revivalist movements.
@SenatorLuma It really is such a layup because of his support for the Union, he's like a fictional character made by a focus group to appeal to Americans.
@kremurr@roserunaways That's ridiculous he has dementia he has no control over much of his behavior you can't possibly consider him morally culpable for that. She has no such right to be mad at him, his negligent caretakers sure, but not him.
@fairhair96 I think he's actually saying that Muslims are a threat to autistic people because we're violent animals or something, admittedly the translation might be confusing the message
@deightnoight@kremurr@roserunaways Well I'll give you that it doesn't, I think the question really is "should that behavior be acceptable on principle", and my answer to that is no. But I'm not saying this is a mortal sin or that she's permanently changed his life or something.
