@OlexaYT@eggmar722 Like, again the dev said it themselves. The QA and localization and porting would cost the publishers more than the update is worth. This is game dev 101, you need to make things that can be profitable.
@OlexaYT@eggmar722 It's the devs fault that so little is done after 2 years that the publisher thinks it's not worth spending whatever time would be left to wrap it up. If it could be wrapped up in a week or a month, they would do that instead of throw away 2 years of their own money, trust me.
@OlexaYT@eggmar722 As someone that works in indie game dev, they're right. The dev themselves admit "nearly 2 years of hard work, time invested, and money spent on the 2.0 update", yet they have so little progress that it's smarter to pull the plug than wrap it up, which is a major red flag.

@Mbtoon05@TheRollinStond No character that is "more diverse and more gendered" will ever be on the level of Mario or Zelda, iconic characters are always good designs and not just forced diversity designs.
@Uber@UberEats just completely scammed me. I ordered food and only some of it arrived, I contacted support and while they acknowledge they failed to give me the order they say I am "not eligible for refund". How do you refuse refunds when you failed to give the product?!
@DynamoSuperX Games used to be $60-$80 too. Action 52 is an awful broken NES game that retailed for $199, which is about $450 after inflation.
This is the cheapest gaming has ever been as a hobby, and game budgets are higher than ever. I wouldn't be happy to pay more but I would understand it.
@OlexaYT@King__Smite@Rogue_Justice You clearly care as much as me, I'm here to state basic facts about it and you're here to shill the idea that one of the most brokenly coded things in any good game is secretly fine. If you didn't care you'd just admit the truth instead of defending something you know is bad.
@OlexaYT@King__Smite@Rogue_Justice Your entire mistake is failing to realize that whether Delirium is beatable or not isn't up to you. If you fought the boss more than a couple times you'd know this. If you've seen the code you'd know this.
@OlexaYT@King__Smite@Rogue_Justice Sure, a skill issue at how often you've fought Delirium to actually learn how bad it is.
Not a single one of your examples is anywhere near the level of Delirium and if you knew how bad Delirium was you'd already know this.
@OlexaYT@King__Smite@Rogue_Justice Poor excuses, you didn't give an example because you know I'm right. Delirium has telefragged many people to death in completely unfair ways and is not in a state most devs would consider playable. No, having a youtube channel does not make this fact go away.
@OlexaYT@King__Smite@Rogue_Justice You like to say it's just a boring boss and not a broken one, and I'd absolutely love to hear your examples of any boss from any good game on the level of broken Delirium is. It has more major bugs and issues than many full games do in a single encounter. It should be unexcusable
@OlexaYT@King__Smite@Rogue_Justice If you ignore the 1000 issues with it once you go to a deeper level on it maybe it's top 3. the last 60 tweets are because you think one of the most broken bosses in any good videogame is perfectly fine and not at all broken, and that a youtube channel is proof of being an expert
@OlexaYT@King__Smite@Rogue_Justice How can you spit out bad faith take after bad faith take with 0 self awareness when you get called out on it time after time? I've mentioned Isaac is a good game in like 10 different tweets in this chain and you have the shameful lack of respect to pretend I'm saying it's not.
@OlexaYT@King__Smite@Rogue_Justice You really can't stop yourself from constant bad faith replies. Nowhere have I said Isaac is a "broken game", I said it's a game with over 1000 broken/unfinished/sloppy coding examples. Which is factually true, as anyone that has dived deeply into the code will tell you.
@OlexaYT@King__Smite@Rogue_Justice The sarcasm is cute, but realistically you have no experience with Delirium at all if you've never had the boss instakill itself or telefrag you to death or glitch itself into a teleporting tizzy. I can't think of a single boss coded worse in a good game ever released.
