This is supposed to be the palace I write nice things that make me feel good but right now I feel very sad and confused and like I'm mole we going to figure out life stuff.
1. I made good supportive and funny moves in class.
2. My boss wasn't pissed when I missed that meeting.
3. I made yummy guac and put lots on a leftover enchilada.
This affects how adults could even help me. For example, I think I had very low self-esteem as a kid a lot of the time. My mom consoling me "it's ok you're just not artistic" was probably just to get me to calm down and not focus on being down on myself for not being perfect.
Also, I'm realizing I'm just like my parents in ways I'd never considered. I usually think about it in terms of physical characteristic or attributes like intelligence or sense of humor.
Realizing now it's also how I deal with emotions and relationships.
So, I'm realizing that a lot of my ideas about myself today are from my ideas about who I needed to be to make friends as a kid moving around a lot.
This influenced my choice of playing sports (not great) rather than pursuing creative or different interests.
1. Harold practice was good. Like the people in it and teacher.
2. Yamo makes good noodles holy shit.
3. My friend completed the Torres del Paine hiking circuit all by herself and she's proud of herself and I couldn't be happier for her. :)
*missed a few days*
1. Day off. Stayed home!
2. Got tons of personal stuff done. Financial, laundry, hair cut, day bed for the back room, photo prints ordered.
3. Made super good shrimp curry.
1. Surprised my mom and dad by showing up
2. Started reading The Happiness Hypothesis
3. Clouds were very pretty on the plane and I watched them while listening to "Walking far from home" by Iron and Wine and it was almost religious
