Quit inviting the wrong things. When those thoughts come, do yourself a favor, dismiss them. Don’t give them the time of day. You get to choose what takes up space in your mind. Instead of inviting negative, discouraging, can’t-do-it thoughts. How about inviting faith, inviting hope, inviting the goodness of God?
Choose to believe today that God is for you, because He is! Choose to believe He accepts you fully, because He does! Choose to believe He loves you unconditionally and has a great plan for your life, because that’s the truth! #JoyceQuote
A quick prayer for your thoughts: God, You have given me the power and
authority to take captive wrong thoughts and to replace them with
right thoughts. Today, help me choose to exercise that power and
cast down anything that the devil puts in my head. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Just because you fail at something doesn’t mean you’re a failure. It just means you found out something you can’t do…so then you don’t bother doing that anymore. You try doing something else. #JoyceQuote
You may not get this from people, but your Heavenly Father says you are one of a kind, a prized possession. Don’t go through life feeling inferior, not up to par, not attractive. Have a receiving mindset. “God, I receive Your approval. I receive Your love. I thank You that You have accepted me. I am worthy. I am valuable. I am a masterpiece.”
"God, help me make and maintain peace with the thoughts that I think, the words that I speak, and the attitudes that I express. Show me when to let others win for the sake of peace. In Jesus' name, Amen."
Practice being positive in every situation that arises. God has promised to bring good out of whatever is taking place in your life at the moment. #JoyceQuote
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12 NKJV
Like Noah, you may be in your 40 days. You’ve honored God, but it’s raining. There’s a storm in your health, finances, marriage. It looks permanent. Can I encourage you: day 41 is coming. The rain will cease, the storm will stop, the trouble will end. You are closer than you think.
Struggling with your thoughts? Pray this prayer over your mind today!
"God, because I know Your Word, I can take every thought captive. Help me to come into perfect agreement with Your Word. Give me the wisdom to reject negative thoughts and fix my mind on what is true and honorable and right. Lord, I want to know the truth of Your Word down deep. Help me to hide Your scriptures in my heart so I can come into agreement with You whenever I sense a need in my spirit. God, thank You for Your perfect direction, Your wisdom and guidance, and Your unfailing love. I know Your Word is true, and I’m believing You. Amen."
We don’t always realize there’s a weight that comes with favor, a weight that comes with influence. If you’re not prepared for it, the favor won’t be a blessing; it will be a burden.
You may be tired today. You love God. You’re grateful, but you’re weary, and you don’t see how you can keep moving forward. Be encouraged. Angels are coming, new energy is coming, strength is coming.
Jesus said, “Your approval or disapproval means nothing to Me.” He wasn’t being disrespectful; He was simply saying, “I know who I am and I know where I get my value.” That’s the place we need to get to. We don’t need people’s approval to feel good about who we are.
Don’t focus on past mistakes or painful things that have happened to you. Look to the future and believe God has good things planned for you. #JoyceQuote
Many times, you can see things in people that they can’t see in themselves. Your kind words can be the seed that will cause them to blossom. Because you spoke faith, you encouraged, you lifted, they’ll step into levels they couldn’t get to on their own.
When you think about yourself, don’t rehearse in your mind everything that you think is wrong with you. Instead, remember that you are God’s child and that He loves you unconditionally. He created you, and He doesn’t make mistakes. Think about your strengths and abilities rather than your faults. #JoyceQuote
What if what’s limiting you is not your circumstances, not other people, not how you were raised, but how you see yourself? What would happen if your vision cleared up and you started seeing yourself for who you really are: a son, a daughter of the Most High God?
