On 2/28 in Moses Lake, WA, K9 Chief took a bullet directed at his handler, probably saving the officer's life. K9 Chief lost an eye but survived and is going home tomorrow. MLPD is a small agency. Any help w/K9 Chief's medical expenses greatly appreciated. https://t.co/JDTayRBThK
McConnell was “courteous and cheerful despite being covered in sweat and grease. His hands were filthy but he had a smile the whole time.”

How cool is this?! The @USPS announced it’s issuing these stamps later in 2019 to honor the nation’s brave and loyal working dogs, and we are giddy with anticipation. #whowantstobeourpenpal

One #JSO traffic stop for a tag light out on Blanding Boulevard leads to this. Great job ZONE 4 Gold Midnight shift. Making a difference one day at a time.

“Evil is powerless if the good are unafraid”...
Thank you to everyone who puts their life on the line every single day to protect us from the evils that exist. You are selfless, brave and courageous heroes.
After being shot in the face apprehending a kidnapping and carjacking suspect, this hero and K9 Echo are returning to work today!
12 surgeries, 46 hours of anesthesia and untold stress to his family. 1/25/19 will be 18 months since he wore a uniform. Help us welcome him back!
Our very own #JSO Robbery Lt. Boucher wore his other uniform today. U.S. Army Major Boucher was chosen to give the invocation at the #FLInauguration. He serves our city and our great country. 🇺🇸
ZONE 4 was honored to meet James Parmenter, one of #JSO’s retirees. They wished him a Merry Christmas and got to thank him for paving the way for us. He retired after 21 years in 1981. Forever family 💙
Thank you to @ChickfilA Roosevelt Square for being part of this program.
#JSO ZONE 4 officers took it upon themselves to pass out toys to children in Eureka Gardens Christmas Eve. The officers said it was their favorite moment of the year. 🎄👮🏻♀️💙🧸 #JAX#Jacksonville#ilovejax
Dispatcher Millie Sansom loves #Christmas for so many reasons. One in particular, her hero, Joseph Rose, was born that day. He is also her grandpa. Joseph was a community hero too, serving as a police officer with @pleasantonpd for 29 years, badge #1. Please read attached 👇🏼...
When you see a group of police officers in your neighborhood, you probably wouldn’t think we were delivering gifts with Santa Claus.
But since this little boy & his family weren’t able to attend #FantasyFlight we brought Santa to him. #CopsCareCancerFoundation
I caught @HinghamPolice Sgt. Steven Dearth (@SgtDearthHPD) in the act a couple nights ago – putting smiles on kids’ faces with replica police badge stickers. There are few in the profession who do it better than this man.
