The Ten Commandments Israel received were an expression of God’s law appropriate for their time and culture. The New Testament makes it clear that the fundamental principle underpinning all of God’s law is love.

Think seriously about this: is the news you learnt at the core of your religion good news or bad news? How has that influenced the trajectory of your life?
If everyone obtains righteousness in the same way, including those who lived before and after Abraham, why do you think that God chose Abraham to especially illustrate how we are saved, and to be called “the father of all who believe”?
