@SkyDill_93@jonbonchoyv@Brewfan0419 I’m saying that you’re acting like you’re above it because it’s a children’s game when it was coming out while you were a child.
Are you going to act like it’s weird to know what Blue’s Clues is next?
@Prop3llis@hernandy_s I hope this is the case, but by age 30 Tom Cruise already had RISKY BUSINESS, THE COLOR OF MONEY, RAIN MAN, and A FEW GOOD MEN under his belt.
Holland at age 30 has a lot of Marvel movies and Nathan Drake. Hoping he’s great in THE ODYSSEY!

@StevieSheaCards@sam_skinner6@HoodieAlonso I don’t think it’s solves the team’s issues, but I do think it gets us into the playoffs given that we were just one game off.
@hungryfuturian@CEBowenJr There’s a line at the start that says Bear’s confession would be 7 years after prom or something, so about 25 felt right for them.
@mattblackwood@neurosehotel@QuinnHesters I wanted to catch it in the 2020 run but sadly a birthday early in the week got in the way and then COVID fears later in the week kinda tanked it. Crazy how fast things were changing back then.
‘Gratz on making it to the Jeopardy stage! Big fan.
@mattblackwood@neurosehotel@QuinnHesters I can see why people would want OBSESSION to be a 2026 release, but I think it opens up a lot of international confusion for the reasons we’re discussing
Maybe they can add a feature in your settings to automatically pull from your country, but that could mess end-of-year stats
@mattblackwood@neurosehotel@QuinnHesters I don’t see how it isn’t related. If we ignore the whole “qualifying runs” trickery that admittedly happens with the Oscars, cut out the festivals and stick just to when it showed it showed wide, shouldn’t it still be 2019 because that’s when it went wide in France?
@mattblackwood@neurosehotel@QuinnHesters But in this case, shouldn’t a wide release in the film’s country of origin supersede whenever it came to America? (Especially since Letterboxd isn’t even an American company?)
I absolutely think 2019 is the right year for PORTRAIT.
@neurosehotel@mattblackwood@QuinnHesters I saw it multiple times in 2019, so to retroactively make it 2020 would basically say that my experience didn’t happen.
In addition, it’s a very Anglocentric take considering it’s a French movie that released in France in September 2019.
Won’t someone think of the Americans?
@mattblackwood@QuinnHesters That movie’s limited run was in December 2019. (I explicitly remember this because I was dying to see it for a third time.)
