Don't take life so seriously. Only God knows how long you have to enjoy the world he has given us.
God, Country, Guns, Good Food, Good Drink, Great Times.
With all we have seen over the last couple of weeks, this nastiness can be digging into the dark places of those of use who have fought it hand to hand.
Check your dudes. A phone call can be a lifesaver. A visit can be a life changer.

@ZOrtiz99 This raises a thought. Do you realize that everyone you meet has a acceptable level of poop that they will leave behind when they wipe? You're welcome.
Hey kids; did you know America is about to have its one and only Semi-quincentennial?
250 years of history of this glorious, experimental, "Constitutional Republic" ("if we can keep it") and we have thus far managed to, but only to a degree.
This is because the ignorant, the envious, the greedy, and the 'downright dirty devil evil' folks, have also had 250 years to assail our Spirit and our Souls with undeserved guilt and shame.
I suggest turning over a new leaf, emotionally, and understanding, those using guilt, are playing the victim. Psychology 101 and everyone's Mom used it on you, at some juncture in your childhood. Mom was teaching you a lesson and you missed the point.
Perhaps America as a whole isn't the Villain of the story. I never felt we were but then I never had an issue being the villain of the story either.
At some point, everyone has to just not allow themselves to be manipulated by others. You need to recognize when and how, but moreover, you need to be yourself; and let those cards play.
While the majority of the folks want to feel liked and appreciated by everyone, that democratic demographic does not exist in any reality.
“You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time.”- John Lydgate.
Do you know what you can do?
You can please yourself, and America was founded on that ideal of individuals having the personal privilege to fulfilling their dreams.
"Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness"
Nothing in our Nation's history implies folks always will achieve "happiness", nor is there any guarantee authorized, but it is in that 'pursuit' we find purpose and license, as a (relatively) free peoples.
No promises, no sure thing, but you have opportunity.
Use it or lose it.
Which, incidentally, is the entire point of this epically long diatribe.
We have one opportunity to celebrate this Semi-quincentennial; let's raise our spirits and do so.
You're always going to be the 'villain' in someone's story, don't let the guilt-mongers, shame-baiters, whiners, and malcontents, take away this moment to shine.
