Dear Aunt Laura:—
We are on our way home. Have stopped by the roadside and the rain is coming down in torrents. Hard wind blowing. This is the second storm we have been in to-day.

dear cousin Leslie:
excuse this awful writing
I'm very busy or would write you a letter.
Does your school have a school paper? The name of our paper is "What Not" and I think it's fine.
You write whenever you can.
