Every October the shelves fill up with tablets, drops, powders and gummies for the immune system, and each label seems to promise a little more than the last. Which of them actually help? We will look at the evidence in one of our letters soon. #ImmuneHealth #GoodImmunity

I counted five pairs of shoes staring at me this morning. A walk around the block in any one of them would be a perfectly good start. #WalkMore #GoodImmunity

The evenings arrive a little earlier every day now, and I have started to like it. It is the season to cuddle up with a good book. What are you reading at the moment? #Reading #GoodImmunity

Before the inbox opens this morning, stand up and reach both arms as high as they will go. Then let them come down slowly. It takes about as long as the kettle, and I find the day starts a little wider after it.

The lift had its afternoon nap today, as promised. If you didn't get one, the evening is still there, and nobody is counting stairs anymore.

Step two is entirely negotiable.
