The birthright citizenship case is not looking great. The fact that Thomas delivered the ruling for Blanche v LAU today suggests to some that he’s not the author of the birthright citizenship ruling.

There’s also this tendency among Roberts and a few others to give Liberals an undue “win” at times just to make it appear like the court is not biased. Polling shows that strategy is worthless because Libs are not satisfied with anything but total ideological control over everything, but that doesn’t stop him from trying.

Considering how contentious the topic of birthright citizenship is and the slew of conservative wins at SCOTUS lately, there’s a real concern that we’re going to lose this case.

I think Restore Britain is likely the best shot the British people have at breaking the uniparty and toppling the UK’s oikophobic ruling class, but that belief is predicated on the expectation that those in the party understand that tonight was not a good result at all.

There’s no spinning this result into a positive outcome. Restore didn’t even match the polling leading up to this election, which showed them getting 7-8% of the vote.

Even worse, Restore wasn’t even able to match the BNP’s performance in this constituency 16 years ago. This, in spite of the fact that Restore has marketed itself as a serious political movement seeking power, while the BNP was under no delusions that they had any realistic shot of winning almost anything in the 2010s.

Turning this around requires accepting that there’s a real gap between where the party currently is vs where much of the online commentariat believed the party was just a few days ago.

Banking on the people to just rise up and swamp the polls on their own will not work. Restore’s supposed latent popularity is not going to manifest itself without a concerted effort to message, organize, and mobilize voters.

My humble advice to all my friends across the pond is don’t let one by election blackpill you, but at the same time, don’t carry on with unrealistic expectations about where things actually are and what it will take to get Restore from >7% of the polls to something closer to 15-25%.
