testnet: magic eden (temporary, while our platform is in development).
mainnet: our dedicated nft marketplace.

why not during nft week:
to ensure thorough preparation, maximize wallet collection, and filter out bots.

supply, price, etc:
• supply: 10,000.
• price: free for whitelisted users; 100 $mon for fcfs (a bot-deterrent).
we expect most mints to occur during the whitelist phase.

why 10,000 nfts:
to simulate real-world conditions. we’ve designed ~600 traits and want them all showcased.

whitelist details:
• size: 3k–15k participants.
• distribution: max nfts per wallet will adjust inversely to whitelist size (prioritizing decentralization).

whitelist eligibility:
• mop closed tg/discord members (wallets already being collected).
• monad ogs (closed tg members + discord role holders).
• monad ecosystem ogs (roles in servers like @kizzymobile, @kuruexchange, @narrativexyz, @pythnetwork, @perpltrade).
• testnet nft holders (e.g., @lamouchnft , @skrumpeys minters, server role holders).
• holders of major nft collections (mad lads, pudgies, etc.).
• collaborators within the monad community (dm for partnerships).
instructions for claiming whitelist spots will drop within 48 hours.

utility/benefits:
• testnet nfts will directly link to future mainnet mints.
• holders of multiple nfts or top 1% rarity nfts get guaranteed mainnet mints + exclusive discord roles (potential future perks).

what happens to test $mon from mints/secondary sales:
• buybacks, burns, and nft giveaways to boost engagement.
• remaining funds go to an nft holder faucet and possibly liquidity for a testnet coin.
