It's still magic even if you know how it's done.
~ Sir Terry Pratchett
@SevenHolyTombs@KnucklesNp26684 For some institutions - like public transport, communication, health care, education - I agree. For normal businesses by far not. The role of the owner, no matter who it is, is by no means overrated. You have to stop thinking only about mega corporations.
@SevenHolyTombs@KnucklesNp26684 - this comes from someone who worked a worker's work most of the time.
When I had a business, my employees didn't have my promised wealth. They don't have my debt because my associate peculated money either.
@SevenHolyTombs@KnucklesNp26684 A worker's work is different work. Without the worker the business wouldn't run, but they don't have the financial risk, they don't have to work after closing hour, they don't have to jump out the bed in the night if someone broke in, they aren't responsible 24 hours a day.
And-
@MarkRPellegrino But that won't happen, so people have to work with the politics they got and try to convince people with arguments. It's hard when there's not really an alternative, but then you have to work on the basis. It's no different in Europe.
@CasIsLoved I find it more remarkable that he said he played the happy accident towards where Dean and Cas were at the end in nuances between the lines ๐๐๐. Well....
@akafaceUS Forced ๐๐๐๐๐. Who forces the many migrants to the country with the highest migration rate? And wondrously, that country isn't even really mentioned here....
@Kannatta_G No matter how this is phrased, I think it's pretty weird to believe you have to like the actor when you like the character. THAT would be mixing up the two, and far too many people do that.
@laurentarnta@MerruX@derJamesJackson You are not overly educated about how Germany handles its guilt. Could be because you draw your knowledge from movies.
@hellertrash He looked after her when she went into the shower naked. It was curiosity, but he found her attractive, and that's where people got that from. He was as attracted to her as he was to April, I guess, maybe a bit more.
@mishacollins@AlaskaAir@BankofAmerica Meanwhile, I'm wondering if I'd ever get a credit card. It's not like in the US here, and it's nearly impossible to get back up when you are down. It's absolutely horrifying I write this, but you got me on the wrong foot.
