Words are weapons in the Middle East war — but not the kind that bring peace.
Calling it “genocide,” “apartheid,” “Nazi,” “concentration camp,” or “war crime” doesn’t make it true. It cheapens the suffering of those who actually endured these horrors elsewhere in history.
Worse, it kills real conversation. We stop debating solutions and start fighting over labels.
Enough with the hyperbole.
The actual issues — security, sovereignty, innocent lives — deserve honest, precise words. Not slogans that bury truth under outrage.
Let’s talk reality, not rhetoric. Real peace starts with language that respects facts.

I was one of "those", who thought leaving Newlands Rugby stadium was a bad idea....I have thoroughly enjoyed every sporting match and event at the DHL Stadium @THESTORMERS@DHLRugby .......have a look, the stats are incredible!
Bryson DeChambeau needed to get up and down to force a playoff at LIV Golf South Africa and he had to pause while the massive crowd broke into a loud chorus of the national anthem.
Unbelievable scenes 🙌🇿🇦
(He did it btw and is now in a playoff with Jon Rahm)
@haribaldijones Really entertaining 1st half...Scotland have been impressive....the French midfield letting themselves down...2nd half will be a cracker.
@Oom_Rugby In that same interview, Eddie suggests that the Springboks are peaking too early and it's not possible to retain the high level for so long.....meaning that come the 2027 world cup, the Springboks be past it..
What is your take on this?
