Today, the NAAKIMS-WW team took a powerful step into Nigeria’s historical soul as part of the Health Week State Tour.

The delegation visited key historical landmarks that tell the story of our nation’s past from unity to the painful chapters of the transatlantic slave trade:

•Amalgamation House- that birthed the modern Nigeria
•Lord Lugard Residence- The colonial administrative seat that shaped the governance of the unified Nigeria.
•Bridge of No Return- A solemn and emotional site where millions of our ancestors were marched to waiting ships, never to return.
•Slave Warehouse- A chilling reminder of the brutality of the slave trade and the resilience of the African spirit.
•Mock Grave - of Aba Women’s Riot

The tour was more than sightseeing, it was a reflective and educational experience.
