@Keri_J_Russell @jk_rowling I’m a grown adult woman but I was embarrassed coming out of a toilet cubicle at work last week with blood on my hand. Thank god we have a single sex toilet at work, I’d have been mortified as a teenager at school if boys had been stood around the sinks.

I deserve to know that my daughter, mother, nieces & aunts are safe in single sex facilities.
Lesbians & gays deserve to have same sex attracted associations, groups & events in safety.

Few months ago a young lad called Toby messaged me on instagram and asked if I’d follow him back, I jokingly replied .. I will if you come and spend the day out in the field with me, rather than all this through the screen stuff.

He did it, his mum brought him at 5am to spend the day at @Bempton_Cliffs with me.. I used his little vlog camera to make him a video that he can share.

He is a little legend, with a foot ailment that made it difficult to walk or stand for long, with a true passion for photography and determination to spend the day with me, it was unreal.

He also had his dad’s old camera with manual focus and none of the gimmicks we all have in our silly cameras .

@stellacreasy Woman’s toilets were never supposed to be inclusive of men. The EHRC guidance just reiterates that and explains that men should go back to using men’s toilets even if they pretend they’re women.

People expect sex based needs to be respected, especially by a disability charity.
Janet expected to perform for them & support them, nothing more. They discriminated against her.

@wrexhamris51760 @jan_murray Scope is a charity specifically for disabled people. Disabled women, girls & children have the right to know if a man or woman would be providing their intimate care but Scope would deny them that right.
This is not ok. It’s against safeguarding. It’s against dignity.
