A minute's silence observed in the Gaelic Grounds in memory of Joe Dolan of the @SarsfieldsGAA club in Galway who passed away recently. As a player Joe was part of the Sarsfields Senior hurling panels of 1993 and 1994 which won back-to-back All Ireland Club titles. He later served the club as a coach to many Sarsfields teams. He was also a long serving club delegate to the Galway Hurling Board. He was chairperson of Coiste Iomána na nÓg Galway between 2007 and 2011, having previously held the position of vice-chairperson for nine years
