Arizona taxpayers deserve to know where their hard-earned money is going!

According to Capitol Media Services, Governor Katie Hobbs’ office has failed to provide answers for two months about taxpayer-funded legal expenses related to the Sunshine Residential investigation. This raises serious concerns about transparency and accountability.

This follows another controversy in which Hobbs reportedly told a constituent that spending related to a baseball game was “none of your business.”

Let me be clear: Taxpayer money IS the public’s business!

As Governor, I will prioritize full transparency, accountability, and timely access to public records. Arizonans deserve to know how their money is being spent, who is benefiting, and why. No administration should operate as though it is above public scrutiny.

Government works for the people. The people do not work for the government!

A disturbing report published by The Wall Street Journal on July 26, 2026, reveals previously unreleased documentary footage showing Senator Lindsey Graham’s years-long efforts to persuade President Donald Trump to take military action against Iran.

The footage reportedly captures Graham celebrating the beginning of the war, communicating directly with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and even considering pushing the United States into additional military operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon.

What concerns me most is the apparent enthusiasm for escalating war while American soldiers and taxpayers are the ones who ultimately carry the burden.

As Governor of Arizona, I will always stand for AMERICA FIRST.

That means protecting our service members, our military families, our taxpayers, and the future of our country.

I respect our military and understand the importance of national security and maintaining relationships with our allies. But supporting our allies should never mean giving them a blank check or automatically committing American lives and resources to their conflicts.

Our soldiers are human beings, not political pawns. Our tax dollars belong to the American people, not to endless foreign wars.

Every dollar spent overseas deserves accountability, especially when Americans are struggling with healthcare costs, housing, education, and basic necessities right here at home.

While decisions about declaring war and deploying our military rest with the federal government, as Governor, I will use my voice to demand transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars. I will also advocate for Arizona’s military families, veterans, and National Guard members.

We must never forget that behind every military deployment is a family praying for someone to come home.

America First means protecting American lives, American resources, and American interests before political ambitions.

Our nation deserves leaders who pursue peace whenever possible, exercise military force only when justified, and never forget the human cost of war.
