Le projet visait à combattre le paludisme en relâchant dans la nature des moustiques génétiquement modifiés.

Le gouvernement a expliqué que le peuple burkinabè n’avait pas donné son consentement et que le pays ne voulait plus servir de terrain d’essai pour des expériences de biotechnologie occidentale.

Le projet était financé principalement par la Fondation Bill & Melinda Gates.

Ritter explains that what is being presented as a “blockade” is in reality a perception of strength that will never be tested, stressing that the limited number of US ships cannot effectively interdict anything, especially near #Iran’s coastline, where, he says, they would be highly vulnerable.

"And so, there is no blockade. There literally is no blockade right now except in the mind of Donald Trump," Ritter said.
