The first attempt is always the scariest, and then, slowly, it isn't anymore. Watching our students transform hesitation into mastery is one of the quiet joys of being at KISS.

Happy to share that 11 members of India’s 32-member athletics team are from KIIT. Along with our swimmer Sajan Prakash, 12 KIITians will represent the country at the Games. For one university to have such a large representation at the Commonwealth Games is a matter of immense pride for all of us.

On World Youth Skills Day, my message to every young person is simple—learn a skill, work sincerely and never be afraid to begin small. A skill gives confidence and helps one stand on one’s own feet.
At KIIT & KISS, I have seen how education and the right skills can change the life of a child from a humble background.
My best wishes to all young people. Keep learning and move forward with confidence.
We at KIIT believe hope fuels every discovery, every degree, and every dream on our campus. This International Day of Hope, we celebrate the resilience of our students and staff.

Heartiest congratulations to 13-year-old WFM Pratitee Bordoloi from Bengaluru on winning silver in the Girls U-18 category at the FIDE World Youth Chess Championship 2026 in Italy. Unbeaten with 9/11, she won India’s only medal. My best wishes to her.
Very happy to share that KIIT has signed an MoU with Universidad APEC (UNAPEC), one of the largest and most reputed private universities in the Dominican Republic. This is KIIT’s first academic partnership in the Caribbean region and the first such partnership of UNAPEC with an Indian university.
The MoU was signed with UNAPEC Rector Erik Pérez Vega, in the gracious presence of H.E. Shri Kishan Dan Dewal, Ambassador of India to the Dominican Republic. UNAPEC is known especially for business, professional education, technology, tourism and applied career-oriented programmes.
My sincere thanks to Rector Erik Pérez Vega and the leadership of UNAPEC for their cooperation and for opening new opportunities for the students and faculty of both institutions.
