@samuraipips358 15m signal can appear in span of only 1-2 hours which may duplicate with the time that you are eating or having business outside. And since it only appears only a few times in a week which contain 478 bars it seems very easy to miss it.
@samuraipips358 I have a question that how you manage you trade and your life in order to capture 15m signal that appear once or twice a week? Even with alerts but with system that need to wait for price formation in multi-TF, it is very difficult to see it when it happens.
@samuraipips358 Your words just remind me of a phase I once heard that "Actual trading cannot be teach, it must be learnt through experience." and I can understand it much better now that you can only learn Technical Analysis, Fundamental Analysis, etc. from other but still need real experience.
@samuraipips358 Yumi san, thank you for you details explanation for my previous question about why you don't switch TF to 1H when you can enter in 15m TF. This made me understand that how much you focus on simplicity and consistency action.
@samuraipips358 I've a question why when you can enter position in 15m TF and graph can break 1H high/low as expected, you don't exit position in 1H instead to capture potential larger move? Isn't that the propose of trying to use multiple TF to enter with low risk and holding for longer trend?
@samuraipips358 I've a question regarding how you trail you stoploss. I've noticed that you normally trail you stop based on TF you've enter but when you can enter in 15m TF, why don't you trail you stop with 1H TF instead to hold for larger trend as you already trade along with 4H TF?
@samuraipips358 It so strange that we are missing millions of opportunities each day and feel nothing yet, when we are trading, we can have very strong emotion when missing just a single chance.
@samuraipips358@phaedrus_trades In my opinion what we should focus is not just Risk Reward but "Risk Reward over a period of time", therefore system that produce highest average RR may not be better than lower average RR with more trade frequency over a period of time.
@samuraipips358 Yumi-san thank you for keep creating this blog. After months of reading you blog, I feel this type of information is really helpful and much better than other normal trading information for me. I had learnt a lot from your posts than many other books ๐
@samuraipips358 "Losses included, Drawdowns included, probability still leaves profit in the end." sound very easy and very simple to understand but really really hard to do... ๐
@BcavendishBruno@samuraipips358 For how to make money from trading game just compared to Casino to see clear picture. That gambling games are truly "Random", yet casino can make a lot of money... Why is that? Because they just have a little "Edge" in each game and in long term they can make a lot of money.
@samuraipips358 In summary rules are what make a special coin that lands heads 60%. Out job as the player of this game is to keep holding this special coin by keeping the rules and just keep betting "Head" every time regardless of result in any single game.
@samuraipips358 I think if tested enough, market meltdown is just a tiny part of data which already included in our sample with positive-expectancy rules.
@samuraipips358 The point isn't "Do not care about Stop Huntings", we actually care but they are already factored in our positive-expectancy rules and already tested, so we just don't care about it anymore...
@samuraipips358 Thank you Yumi-san for keep sharing this invaluable mindset.
PS. I like this Post Style more than previous Article Style. I feel it is easier and quicker to read.
@samuraipips358 I really like this paragraph.
"Rules are not a substitute for learning.
They are a privilege granted only to those who have completed sufficient study and preparation.
And the one responsibility assigned to a trader is to keep following those rules rigorously."
@samuraipips358 I think everyone just start trading need to learn from losses. But if you still need to learn from losses, mean your knowledge, experience and preparation is still not enough. In the final phase what you actually need to learn is from process failure. This is what I've learned.
@samuraipips358 I had been in the trap of "Maybe the Strategy Stopped Working" for long time... and after reading many of your posts, I start to realize that the root cause of this thinking came from not truly understanding where system's edge come from. When really understand, problem gone...
@samuraipips358 I've a question regarding EURUSD trade you've explained. I want to clarify how you identify Higher High / Lower High in the chart. Are you seeing the wick of candle stick or just the body of it? As in 1H graph made Higher High wick but you considered it as Lower High.
@samuraipips358 Thank you Yumi-san for keep sharing your trading plan. Reading your trading plan for weeks together with your books make me change much much more than reading just only a trading book by far. It is very helpful for me. I'm looking forward to reading every post from you ๐
