A British engineer has built a steam-powered bike that is faster than most dragsters

This monster covers the quarter mile (402 meters) in 5.5 seconds and reaches 310 km/h by the finish line.

The main feature is that the bike runs on steam rather than gasoline.

During acceleration, the rider experiences forces of up to 6.8G — comparable to those endured by fighter jet pilots.

The Audi 100 C4 2.3E is not a car anyone talks about. 133 HP from a 2.3L naturally aspirated five-cylinder, 0-100 km/h in just over 10 seconds.
On paper it sounds like nothing.
In reality it is one of the most pleasant and underrated ways to drive a 90s German saloon.
The five-cylinder has an inherent smoothness that four-cylinders simply cannot replicate, and a sound that is distinctly Audi.
The C4 platform is solid, comfortable, and well built with no fuss, solid built and reliable.
The last generation of the Audi 100 before it became the A6.
Nobody buys one expecting fireworks.
