@ukboomers We wanted to build an orangery on the back of our property but the local council turned us down because of a tree in our garden with a TPO. All very inconvenient, any suggestions on what we can do? I’m trying to spend my pension before I die ……well it is mine and I worked hard.
@MartinSLewis I was in Portugal a few weeks back, the taxi driver was moaning about illegal immigrants taking all their jobs. The cost of buying property is prohibitive and his children can’t afford to move out, food and energy prices had gone up. It seems wherever you go there’s challenges!!
@tonyiommi What the four of you had was unique, there will never be another Sabbath. I can’t imagine the pain you’re feeling, but you brought so much happiness to millions of people. For that I can’t thank you, Ozzy, Bill and Geezer enough. RIP Ozzy and thank you.
In case people need a reminder of who to vote for on Thursday, here is a list of top 50 things @UKLabour managed to do between 1997-2008.

2. Low mortgage rates.
3. Introduced the National Minimum Wage and raised it to £5.52.
@virginmedia sort yourselves out, you sell me a broadband service that you can’t provide. Engineer came out yesterday to activate my broadband only to discover there’s no signal. Phone call this morning saying it will be at least 2 weeks before you can get things connected.
@virginmedia Apparently there’s no signal and I have to wait until 16th July before an engineer can visit. That means I will not have access to the internet for 16 days!!!! That’s just not good enough.
An employee earning £35,000 a year gains almost £900 from NICs cuts, but loses over £500 from threshold freezes since 2021.
But for a full-time minimum wage employee, threshold freezes more than offset the gain from NICs cut, resulting in a net tax increase of over £200.
