@BabblingIrons He brought in at a valuation of around £700m I think, which was already reaching, if he could have found a buyer at 800-900m he would have been mad not to snap their arm off.
@BabblingIrons Yeah he paid a serious premium, which for a shrewd businessman is surprising and more surprising is that he seems content or at least we haven’t heard or seen any signs of him trying to change things- I get he is a minority shareholder
@BabblingIrons I get the argument about a write down in value but if we are stuck in the Championship ( worse still relegated again) the value plummets further so they could might be persuaded to sell before that becomes a reality- I can’t see us coming straight back
@BabblingIrons Yeah you’re probably right. I think the club needs new leadership with new ideas better recruitment, the ground and the relationship with the fans everything ! And however best that is delivered, going bust probably not the best
@tommywathen I’m with you on this, I had accepted it, then som hope but now I’m at peace. We deserve this and anything else would have been papering over the cracks
@HammersimonK@JacobCOYI@Whuollyhx I can’t see Bowen or Mav staying, that midfield has no legs so I hope not! I think Kante will prove to be a decent player, I hope Kilman can rise again but I can’t see it. You aren’t making me feel better !
@HammersimonK@JacobCOYI@Whuollyhx I think it’s a combination of them wanting to leave and us having to sell due to financial reasons, but I hope you’re right.
@WHUFC_News He’s been very disappointing, but then so have the majority of the team this year but his distribution was supposedly good, I haven’t seen that
