https://t.co/SqRLKF06aI Aus Gov's doing a classification review. Maybe tell them not to censor fiction, i.e. anime, manga, drug ref.
Maybe useful:

One project even used to use privacy a lot as a gimmick, which in fairness, who doesn't like privacy. Now, though, they're starting to lean into federation as a gimmick, which undermines privacy *a lot*.
From the start, I approached things from the angle of simplicity, performance, and security. Once you start tossing on lots of very random features, you end up distracting from the things which really matter.
That is exactly one of the things about this market which I disliked.
We received a handwritten list of books removed from Hernando classroom libraries based on “age appropriateness” for a specific grade.
The books may still be allowed in the main library and available to students capable of reading them, but in the classroom they are restricted.
This is not going to be a terribly active account but trying to ban particular kinds of mannequins to presumably be used for sex (although, the science is a lot less clear on that) invites a whole lot of other nonsense censorship as well, and it is unconstitutional.
Forums adopting "federation" is a stupid idea, and I've written about how it is a bad idea for many, many years. It greatly complicates moderation / rules in a way that is not helpful.
I'm not really working on this a whole lot right now, so there isn't a whole lot to say, than to take the time to retweet some civil liberties related stuff.

@ddimolfetta The article you wrote is racist and misleading. I understand you used a third party source. Stop using them.
Some sites in Japan have millions or tens of millions of users. A tiny amount of abusive content isn't entirely unexpected. Censorship violates human rights.
You should write to elected reps, state, and federal, to oppose censorship of anime, manga, Japanese light novels, and anything else in Australia.
You should write to British MPs to oppose censorship of anime porn, manga porn, etc, and to scrap the OSB.
MUGEN SOULS has been Refused Classification (banned) in Australia under the automated International Age Rating Coalition (IARC) system. It was submitted by @eastasiasoft. #MugenSouls
