⠀”Okay. . . “

While he fell into silent pondering, Leliel’s arms crossed over her chest, tilting her head with a mild amused look— Only at his new choice she looked surprised. Flusteredly waving a hand in a timid manner.

“Psh— I think you mean ‘pest’— Hahaaaa.”

[-ˏ ᵗʰᵉ 𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐑 ᵒᶠ 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 。 @EightPhaseBlade]

⠀〝 Wait, wait —— just . . hold on a sec, will ya ?
Lemme' think of a better one . 〞

Falling into silent ponder, the male drummed at his temple 'til he settled upon;

〝 . . how about ' lovable ? ' 〞

[𝕃𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕖𝕝 @GothMaidGF]

⠀Eyes narrowed a bit, not in agitation but rather just her being suspicious.

⠀” If I didn’t pout over it, you wouldn’t have changed it. . . Okay. Fine. I’ll take the second option. “

[-ˏ ᵗʰᵉ 𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐑 ᵒᶠ 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 。 @EightPhaseBlade]

Brims pull into taut line, pursing inward; as realization had seemingly struck.

〝 . . no, I was just throwin' that off the cuff . That's why I was changing my answer, remember ? 〞

[𝕃𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕖𝕝 @GothMaidGF]

⠀There’s a pause as if thinking on his words VERY carefully.

⠀” You think the word that best sums up all of me— Is ‘aggravating’? “

[-ˏ ᵗʰᵉ 𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐑 ᵒᶠ 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 。 @EightPhaseBlade]

Why does he suddenly have a sense of foreboding for nonsense?

⠀〝 Of course I agree that you're cute, dumbass . But I'm supposed to pick a word that sums a͟l͟l of you up, not just the cute parts . 〞

[𝕃𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕖𝕝 @GothMaidGF]

⠀” It totally is. Okay. . . Fine. But can’t you give me a super duper cute word? I am the cutest around after all. . . Don’t you agree? “

One wrong word and she’s gonna do his favorite thing ever! Shove herself in a vending machine!

[-ˏ ᵗʰᵉ 𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐑 ᵒᶠ 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 。 @EightPhaseBlade]

⠀〝 That's not——c'mon, that is totally n͟o͟t how that works . And I'm the one who's supposed to be picking the word, remember ? 〞

[𝕃𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕖𝕝 @GothMaidGF]

⠀⠀” It’s not biased if it’s true, Sayie! And it IS a real word. I just said it therefore it is!”

[-ˏ ᵗʰᵉ 𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐑 ᵒᶠ 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 。 @EightPhaseBlade]

⠀〝 That's not even a real word, Lei . Not to mention that it's biased as all hell . 〞

[𝕃𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕖𝕝 @GothMaidGF]

⠀⠀Mmm. What about. . .
‘ BESTEST ‘ ?

[-ˏ ᵗʰᵉ 𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐑 ᵒᶠ 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 。 @EightPhaseBlade]

⠀⠀Fine, lemme think . .

⠀⠀Uh, how about; ' excitable ' ?

[𝕃𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕖𝕝 @GothMaidGF]

⠀. . .

Yes.

[-ˏ ᵗʰᵉ 𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐑 ᵒᶠ 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 。 @EightPhaseBlade]

⠀⠀Urgh . .

Okay, look──if I change the word, will you stop pouting ?

[𝕃𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕖𝕝 @GothMaidGF]

⠀I am not!

[-ˏ ᵗʰᵉ 𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐑 ᵒᶠ 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 。 @EightPhaseBlade]

⠀⠀Oh c'mon, you're making a bigger deal outta' this than it is .

[𝕃𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕖𝕝 @GothMaidGF]

⠀⠀That’s not teasin’ that’s just pickin’ on me!

[-ˏ ᵗʰᵉ 𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐑 ᵒᶠ 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 。 @EightPhaseBlade]

⠀⠀tsk——you are w͟a͟y too easy to tease, y'know ?

[𝕃𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕖𝕝 @GothMaidGF]

[𝕃𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕖𝕝 @GothMaidGF]

Oh if only her boyfriend WOULD come over here and give her a KISS before she SHOVES herself in a VENDING MACHINE….

[𝕃𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕖𝕝 @GothMaidGF]

Annnnnd there she goes!

She almost expected him to pout but she’d accept this too. Huhu. Now he was bound to have a lipstick stain—!

Pinned underneath her boyfriend, the maid didn’t mind a single bit. Her only response was for her pale hands to hold his face in such.

[-ˏ ᵗʰᵉ 𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐑 ᵒᶠ 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 。 @EightPhaseBlade]

⠀〝 Why you—!! (💢) 〞

You'd think /years/ of the maid's smarmy little quips would have weathered him by now, but nope!

Margins crashed back into Leliel's scarlet set once more, harsher than before, as palms seized those slender shoulders and pinned her back to the floor.

[𝕃𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕖𝕝 @GothMaidGF]

Quiet.

How rare of an occasion that was. The nervous thuds from the demon’s tail being the only thing truly ruining such.!

Such gentle pressure was easily met by her own delicate press. Though, it was finally interrupted by a hushed affectionate whisper.

❝ Loser. . . ❞

[-ˏ ᵗʰᵉ 𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐑 ᵒᶠ 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 。 @EightPhaseBlade]

They'd kissed countless times before. And yet, the reaper could still feel the heat rising in his cheeks whenever his sights fell on those blood-red lips.

So he simply closed his eyes, drifted forward, and allowed his pale brims to gently collide with the demoness' plump set.

[𝕃𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕖𝕝 @GothMaidGF]

The quiet little lady smiled, she had won. >:) This was her win!

❝ Can do, Hassie. . . ❞

Crimson hues disappeared underneath eyelids as they fluttered close. Ah. Was her heart thudding? Probably. Each kiss was like the first to her after all.

[-ˏ ᵗʰᵉ 𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐑 ᵒᶠ 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 。 @EightPhaseBlade]

The things he agrees to for a simple reprieve . .

Sparing a moment to let slip a grated sigh, Haseo made good on his end; taking a knee before the unusually-compliant demoness, cupping her slender chin.

〝 Uhm, close your eyes. 〞 he commanded, quietly so.

[𝕃𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕖𝕝 @GothMaidGF]

OH?!

He agreed?! Immediately. IMMEDIATELY after he barks his reply out to her usually painfully selective ears she sits down.

Not a single word follows. She’s behaving FOR ONCE.

[-ˏ ᵗʰᵉ 𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐑 ᵒᶠ 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 。 @EightPhaseBlade]

Always a balancing act; measuring his strength so he didn't actually hurt the playful pup, but could still contest the demoness' subtle vigor when she was willful enough .

〝 ack—! O-Only if you get off of me, first ! 〞

Barking over her, a palm now planted to her forehead .

[𝕃𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕖𝕝 @GothMaidGF]

The maid was VERY apparent to make it clear what she was up to! After she landed her pounce, her immediate move of action was to kiss his face!

❝ Aww c’mon, Hassie! One kiss! Just oneeee. ❞

Even if his elbow managed to block her she didn’t mind landing a kiss to his elbow.

[-ˏ ᵗʰᵉ 𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐑 ᵒᶠ 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 。 @EightPhaseBlade]

Little too lax in his position of power, Haseo wasn't prepared for the demoness' fake-out, gaze widening as she 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 slipped through his grasp .

〝 Dammit !! 〞

On the defensive now; elbow raised, serving as barricade against the pup .

〝 D-Down ! Bad Girl ! 〞

[𝕃𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕖𝕝 @GothMaidGF]

“H’ohhhh?”

The obnoxious maid stopped her squirming. Only for a second— Going practically limp under the palm that pinned her. . . Until she shoved all her weight forward to try and get her pounce in.

Watch out, Hassie. She wants to cover his face in kisses.

[-ˏ ᵗʰᵉ 𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐑 ᵒᶠ 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 。 @EightPhaseBlade]

A humorous sight, but Haseo remained adamant when faced with the pup's pleas, her flailing limbs aiding little in her escape.

〝 Ah-Ah , ya gotta behave, 〞 adopting something of a sing-song tone, his next words all the more foreboding for it; 〝 or you'll go on a leash.~ 〞

[𝕃𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕖𝕝 @GothMaidGF]

Wah!

The palm which pinned her practically has her squirming like a turtle suck on its shell.

❝ Pleaaaseee! Pppleaaase. ❞
Even if he says ‘no’, she will anyways.

[-ˏ ᵗʰᵉ 𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐑 ᵒᶠ 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 。 @EightPhaseBlade]

A look he's witnessed a thousand times, at the very least. This time, however, he's more than ready!

With just a slither of his strength, the reaper's palm pinned the eager pup. Other hand rose to Leliel's face, wagging a finger.

〝 Don't even think about it. 〞 he warned.

[𝕃𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕖𝕝 @GothMaidGF]

She’s always careful! Sometimes. . .

Either way, this was exactly what she wanted. . . Heh. The minute his hand made contact she sparkled at him. Yippie. . . !

❝ Oh noooo. ❞
Hands come to her face in delight before eying Haseo. She looks ready to pounce. Oh no.

[-ˏ ᵗʰᵉ 𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐑 ᵒᶠ 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐇 。 @EightPhaseBlade]

Be careful what you wish for, dear Leliel.~

No sooner had that coy little request left the demoness' painted lips, had Haseo swooped in on his target—an audible '𝘱𝘢𝘵' as palm touched down upon her torso.

〝 Sorry, what was that? 〞 he cooed, working his hand in circles.
