The 17th Judicial Circuit of Florida will be closed on Thursday, June 13, 2024 due to inclement weather.
Operations will resume on Friday, June 14, 2024.
Several judges from the 17th Circuit participated as faculty at the 2024 Judicial College. The college takes place during the first year of judicial service and covers a variety of subjects that are geared towards preparing new judges for the bench.
Students from McNicol Middle School came to visit the 17th Circuit courthouse on Friday, February 16, 2024.
As they were there observing the Black History Month Celebration, they joined Chief Judge Jack Tuter, Judges Elijah H. Williams and Edward H. Merrigan for a photo.
Judge Florence Taylor Barner and Attorney Anisha Acthanah were the hosts of the Broward County Bar Association’s Mentorship View from the Bench Panel, which was a three part series featuring judges from various circuits.
