@imodernman I work in a hot windowless basement room all day.
I reset sitting outside next to a fire/grill alone then eating what was above it.
Salt, meat and heat. Sometimes (or many times) it's all you need.
The grill is back in business!
Asparagus in season and dirt cheap - buy a bunch and pickle them.
The edible parts that don't fit in the jars will be incorporated into other dishes.
The woody parts will be composted
Snappers and a leg of lamb on thaw that I butchered a few months back.
Easter feast is on the prep table!

@dojidog I will sparingly add maple sugar in rub and/or honey or berries in sauces. But yes, extreme sugar overuse is prevalent when smoking, not a fan of meat candy.
